Complete freedom with Audio-technica’s ATH-CK3TW True Wireless Headphones
Music fans looking for the freedom from wires when listening on the move should look no further than Audio-technica's new ATH-CK3TW true wireless headphones.
According to Audio-technica, fifty-seven years of audio engineering heritage have led to its latest offering, with a compact and lightweight design, battery life of 6 hours (an additional 24 hours of battery power deliverable via the charging case), the latest Bluetooth tech, and the renowned Audio-technica sound quality.
The CK3TW features an intuitive Auto Power On/Off function that is said to automatically turn the headphones on and pair them with your smartphone or portable audio player when they are removed from their charging case. They'll also turn off automatically when placed back inside the case. The case includes LED battery status indicators and charging comes via USB Type-C connection.
If you've got a Qualcomm TrueWireless compatible smartphone/device, you'll also benefit from a low-latency, stable connection and more efficient power management.
Building further on the Bluetooth 5.0 capability, Audio-technica has also employed Clear Voice Capture (CVC) technology that reduces ambient noise “for improved clarity during conversations.” They're also drip-proof IPX2 water resistant rated which means they'll be resistant to some water splash if you've got an active lifestyle.
Audio-technica's latest headphones utilise 5.8mm drivers that the company says “provides a powerful and precise audio performance despite the headphones' compact size, while smooth silicone ear tips ensure a natural fit with a strong measure of sound isolation.” Each earbud also features touch sensors for controlling audio, calls and volume.
Finally, Audio-technica's ATH-CK3TW is compatible with Siri and Google Assistant for hands-free command activation.
Available from December 2019 in black, white, blue, and red, they'll sell for SGD $158.
