I've always been sceptical about accessories like footers and cable lifters and why some can be so costly. Of course we all know expensive can be quite subjective depending on the results and improvements it brings and how much we can afford.

Chanced upon Giraffe's cable lifters this afternoon and it was a real ear opener that made me rethink how these "accessories" of HiFi can make such a great difference to sound.

The lifters were used on the speaker cables and there was actually improvements on the midtones which was a lot clearer. Bass extensions went lower, sounded less boomy. Could hear the bass notes better. There was also improvement on transparency. Separation is better, and overall quieter!

I haven't really got the chance to compare these against other brands of lifters, but honestly at this price point of $90 each I think it's an accessory really worth considering. Didn't really burn a hole in my pocket yet brought tremendous upgrade to overall sound. As good as upgrading a part of my HiFi system.

Quality and material of this footer is pretty good.  titanium top, aluminium support with ceramic ball bearings in between.

I don't really find much posting about this cable lifter, but I think it's really worth giving it a try, if you're like me, sceptical. Let your ears be the judge [emoji4]

Yes! Tried on power cords and interconnects that were touching the ground. Results were good!

Yes I did. The batch from the latest MO is really good stuff. Comes with a nice metal casing.

Like the new design where the height can adjusted from the bottom. Very easy adjustment and no more ugly slips of paper underneath to raise height.

Innovative [emoji41]

Not sure how it work, and very surprised that it actually work without electronic and make the sound better. To me it's very well worth the money compare to high end power cord. I just get the new full titanium height adjustable footer for my power amp.

Not so sure about that @noah

Chances are the cables will be resting on something else if not the floor.

If you are trying to dangle the cables then I suggest not. May end up causing stress to the ends of the cables and damaging them.

Why not ask Giraffe for a home trial?

Like I said, let your ears be the judge.
