desray Posted July 5, 2016 Author Share Posted July 5, 2016 @DJQ and ahduck, this is due to the built-in cinevia bug in some of the clips, primarily those from Lionsgate release. Not just Gods of Egypt, The Last Witch Hunter will likely happen as well. Sadly, there is nothing I can about it. For physical disc playback, if you have a bluray player that was an older model that predates the "cinevia watermark", you may be able to playback w/o any issue. So far, I have not experienced it on my Oppo for Gods of Egypt except for the random appearance of "cinevia bug" that happened once in a while.
