  1. Just watched it on Apple TV+, the soundtrack is really bad, speech is hardly audible, sound effects are too loud, couldn’t make head or tail of the plot the first time I watched it, the more I analysed it, the more confused I got ...
  2. Year 1993 Mission 760i speakers Cyrus IIIi integrated amp Pioneer tuner Rotel 965 CD player Canare speaker cables and interconnects all fully paid for by giving private tuition to secondary school students.
  3. You may not experience full 5G because the telcos are probably rolling out 5G in phases. For SingTel, only certain areas would have 5G, more details can be found at https://www.singtel.com/personal/products-services/mobile/5g#5g-devices2 Unless you’re spending a fair amount of time in those areas, you will be paying for a 5G phone but getting 4G speeds, but if you really need to have the latest iPhone, then by all means, get the 12.
  4. A bit of all 3, more into home theatre now, watching concerts and musicals in surround sound. Used to dabble a bit in IEMs, but have since stopped after subscribing to Apple Music and using wireless earphones.
  5. There’s someone taking pre-orders on Carousell, if anyone is interested ... SGD172, inclusive of shipping to SG.
  6. I think the ones from Hong Kong are not UK plugs, but 2-pin flat, like US. At least that’s how it was for my HomePod.
  7. The in-ceiling models are tiltable? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Yes, cause and effect, without owners of new equipment, there won’t be pre-owned, unless the distributor sells demo sets. Go for it, DJQ, start the cause and let the effect follow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Use the remote control for the Apple TV to increase the volume when connected to the Apple TV. On your device, use the Control Centre (swipe up from the bottom of the screen (for my IPhone 7) or swipe down from the top of the screen (for my iPad Pro). There is volume control in Control Centre. 10. I could be imagining the spatialness then. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. You need to turn on the spatial setting for the AirPods Pro. You can find this in the AirPod Pro settings in the Bluetooth menu in your iPhone or iPad. Then you need to pair your AirPods Pro to Apple TV set top box. Mine is the Apple TV 4K set top box from Apple, not the software found in the LG or smart TVs. The sound effects are different with spatial. It’s more 3D. Can’t compare with Atmos though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Spatial worked for me on Apple TV, was watching Ready Player One on Apple TV+ with my AirPods Pro. Sure beats listening in stereo. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
