I watched a few streamed 4k content but the result, especially audio, was worse than normal blu ray. Maybe my set up is not suitable for streaming... The 4k TV cannot zoom 4k content to remove the top and bottom black bar. In the end, I went back to normal blu ray.

I have added bias lighting (bought from Amazon for $50) behind my 75" TV. The picture improved significantly especially in a dark room. Usually in a dark room, I have to reduce the brightness of the TV and the black is still grey. After adding the bias lighting, my eyes adjust to the light behind the TV and the black becomes very black. I can turned the brightness of the TV to the max in the dark room and the black is still extremely black. Certainly better experience. Just sharing my experience.

One sub on left of sofa, one sub on right of sofa, one sub beside right main speaker. Room not very big. Back speakers already put on ceiling, hence no need atmos. The surround sound good enough for me.
